Staging your Home

Staging -Helping you prepare your home for sale.

The two most important factors to selling a House is Price and Staging

Staging is an important part of marketing a house. Major companies, such as Microsoft and Mercedes-Benz, market their product in an attractive way.

Staged Homes will usually sell for more and in a quicker amount of time.

Sellers need to separate their emotions from the commodity. The commodity is your house. Sellers, this won’t be your home soon- so let it become a house- then the house will be a product (commodity). To a Buyer, this is just a commodity that they will convert from a house into their home. They have no attachments to it as they go out looking at houses that on the market. Your house is just a house they are looking at and comparing what it offers, its features, benefits, and price compared to the other homes they have looked at. To help cut the ties, you need to start planning for your new home. Start by packing up what you’re taking with you that we don’t need for staging. Packing up now will save time in the future. You need to pack up any special collections that might distract Buyers. Less is more. Buyers need to be able to see space for their belongings. Buyers usually only see what it is, not what it will be.
This is just like the Theater- your Home is the stage – the Buyers are the audience and the Realtors are the critics.
